15th PAUL HOURICAN & guest BONNEFIRES
Hourican's debut album 'Let The Enemy In' is to be released through Hurricane Records in early 2008 and distributed exclusively both mechanically and digitally by Warner Music Ireland who, upon hearing the record, were more than eager to get involved. The first single 'All I ever wanted' released in August lit up the airwaves bringing it with it performances on Tony Fenton's radio show amongst others. On the record as on stage, Hourican is joined by some of Ireland's finest musicians including legendary guitarist Conor Brady (The Corrs, Jerry Fish), bassist Shane Fitzsimons (Damien Rice, Paddy Casey) and drummer Steve Hogan ( Hal, The Carnival Saloon) and vocalist Louise Molony. With live performances promising authoritative, emotionally arresting, honest and soulful delivery of, as of yet, untouched gems, and every throaty syllable surrendering to and serving the song, not just the singer, Hourican is one not to be missed. Bonnefires hails from Portlaoise and it's his first appearance in the Yukon.

Four 20 Magazine is on it's 4 issue now and is the only free entertainment magazine in the Midlands region. Featuring Cinema, DVD, Live music and CD reviews as well as restaurants and pub reviews, gig listings and interviews it is the only comprehensive round up of all that is happening in and around the Midland region. Following on from Four 20 nights in Athlone & Tullamore the magazine now comes to Mullingar to showcase the best in original music around the area. Opening up will be Mullingars Till The Morning Comes who are no strangers to the Stables having played to JD set gigs there that lead to them being hailed the hardest working band in Ireland by Jack Daniels. Following them will be Triega from Mullingar also who have just returned to the live scene after an absence to work on new material. A recent support slot to Chris Pontius from Jackass's band showed they've lost none of their energy or power. Finally headlining on the night will be Skinsize Kings from Athlone who are pushing the boundaries of rock music and making all the waves within the industry. This will be their first headline show at the Stables following their debut headline performance at Dublin's Crawdaddy a few days earlier.

17th TAMPORA (Pantera Tribute) & guests Blacken the Sun
Formed in 2005, TamporA the PanterA tribute from hell have been described as the next best thing to having the real PanterA on stage!! With mindblowing energy and songs played to perfection the live show really is a vulgar display of power. A show not to be missed be a PanterA fan or not. Flash (Metallitia) Guitar, Johnny (dyslucsic) Drums, Ralf (Empathy) Vocals, Kenn (Dyslucsic) Bass. It's good to have them back. Blacken the Sun hail from Longford and are still in their infancy in their current carnation although they all have plenty of experience from previous endeavours. They really impressed recently at the New Breed Metal night so we're delighted to have them return as special guests.

22nd KILA & guests
KILA's new album 'Gamblers Ballet' has been well received and reached the Top 30 in Ireland. This date is part of an extensive Irish tour the band are undertaking in support of the new album. It has been a while since Kila graced the stage at the Stables but if their performances at most of this years big festivals will testify they've lost none of their appeal or indeed their energy. Blowing the crowds away at the Midlands, Electric Picnic and Cois Farraige festivals this past Summer will have only whet peoples appetite to see them indoors in a smaller venue. Not to be missed!!

24th JUNO FALLS & guests
So, what do you do when you sign your first big record deal? Head for the bright lights of London, take the plaudits, and listen to everyone telling you how wonderful you are? Not for Juno Falls frontman and songwriter Myles O'Reilly. Packing his bags, Myles left behind his native Dublin and headed for the tranquility of Dingle, on Ireland's rugged west coast. "Don't get me wrong", says Myles, "I love Dublin. It has a great energy and the music scene is very healthy there, but for me the remoteness and honesty of somewhere like Dingle makes the creative process so much more natural". Returning to Dublin several months later with a lap-top full of songs, Myles began the process of "putting meat on the bones of the songs" with the rest of the band. "They brought something really special to the songs," explains Myles."They made the songs sexy, adding a 'groove' and taking them out of the whole singer-songwriter genre". Recorded at various points over the course of the last year, including Wicklow, London, Dublin and Nashville, the result is a collection of beautifully crafted songs, sometimes intimate, sometimes fragile, always honest and unmistakably Juno Falls. Road-tested on a month-long tour of the UK and Ireland with Travis, the new songs have already found their live legs. "Fran [Healy, Travis singer] heard 'The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off' on my Myspace page and liked it so much, he asked us to come on tour with them," explains the frontman. Signed to V2 Records worldwide the new album 'Weightless' is released on October 26 th in Ireland. www.myspace.com/junofalls www.junofalls.net

30th FIACHRA MILNER, HI FAST & SUPERSTATE
3 bands, one night. Fiachra Milner is no stranger to the music scene in Mullingar. A singer songwriter for 7 years now, he has played alongside Mundy, Mark Geary, Liam o Mhaomlaigh, Colm Querney (aka Q) the Pale and the Aftermath to name but a few. Fiachra has headlined the Yukon on many occasions and recently has been involved with the 2007 Midland songwriter night which also featured Agitated Radio Pilot (Dave Colohan), Jimi Cullen, Declan Finneran and The Martin Staunton Band. Recently Fiachra played on an album recorded by another mullingar singer/songwriter, Deberah Finnane. Hi-Fast This 5 piece band is less than 6 months old, with this gig being the first the band will play together. The band are excited about bringing the songs to stage and hope to get something recorded properly within the year. Influences from the likes of the Killers, Dire Straits and the Eagles point to the genre into which Hi-fast would fit. Soaring Harmonies, Luscious Keys and hard guitars make the Hi-Fast experience one not to miss SUPERSTATE is a 5 Piece band fronted by Daire O' Reilly. No strangers to the live circuit, SUPERSTATE have shared the stage with fellow mullingar rockers, The Aftermath on more than one occasion. Influences from the Foos to the Frames and everything inbetween make for a very exciting prospect from these guys on the night! A Recording is in the pipeline at the moment with the great Karl Odllum of the Frames fame at the helm. It is due out in the new year with the title still being kept under wraps!
