Just did the (entirely random) draw for four pairs of tickets to the Coke / iTunes lanch gig in The Village tomorrow night (Thursday, Nov 30th). We decided to have five overall prizes, rather than four, so the first winner gets the €200 mystery music voucher and the other four get gig invites. This is because when we ran a competition last month to give away an iPod Nano and tickets, courtesy of Coke / iTunes, the winner was in Kerry and didn't want to go to the gig anyway! This way, there are five winners instead of four... So, drumrolls etc... The winners are: Winner of the €200 mystery music voucher is: "MyPetKangaroo". I assume that's a pseudonym and not my real pet kangaroo. In fact, it must be cos my pet kangaroo (Joey) can't type. So, "MyPetKangaroo", if that's your real name(!?), there's a mystery voucher in the proverbial post. Don't spend it all in one shop. Unless it's a voucher for just one shop. Or maybe it's not for a shop at all... Oooohh, the suspense of it all ;-) Runners up, and thereby added to the Guest List of the invitation-only gig in The Village, featuring live performances from The Blizzards supporting New York rockers The Rapture are: Jonathan Lambert Andrew Page Conor McIllhenney Keith Maycock Simply turn up at The Village tomorrow night (or Today if you're reading this tomorrow, if you see what I mean!) and tell the door-people "My name's on the guestlist - aren't I cool". Incidentally, the correct answer to the question "Which County are The Blizzards from?" was 'Westmeath'. Some people thought 'Mullingar' was a County. In fact, some people thought it wa a Country!
