Dublin songwriter Singleton has launched his new website, www.singletonmusic.com, where you can listen to his music, find out what he's up to and avail of concession tickets to his gigs. A very interesting feature of the site is the "Music Tools" section, which other Irish acts can use to promote their activities or access key music resources. For a limited time only, a number of free Singleton cds will be available from the site.
Singleton is currently recording his debut album and will be performing live on Wednesday 1 October, when you can catch a full-band performance in Doyle's Music Bar, College Street, Dublin 2 at 8.30pm. Influenced mainly by 60s and 70s acts such as The Beatles and Bowie, his work has been described as "great music" by Hotpress, "fantastic" by In Rhythm In Sound Magazine and "class" by the Irish Music Network.
