Don't forget that the Bank of Ireland National Student Music Awards final is on inTemple bar Music Centre tomorrow (Wednesday , April 12th) night. Doors are 7.30, first band due on around 8pm. Admission is 9.50, for which you get 6 of the best new bands in Ireland, who have come through a vetting process and three heats in Dublin, Cork, Galway. You also get "Turn", who recently were nominated for their album "Turn" as one of the top ten Irish albums of 2005. Not bad for the price of two beers... My personal favourites for the win are... actually, since I'm a judge in the event, I can't make my mind up until the night :0) See www.nsma.ie for details Here's the details: 8.15pm: The Roll Models Band from Galway: 8.40pm: Autoban Band from Dublin: 9.05pm: Roper Band from Limerick: 9.30pm: Lost Band from Dublin: 9.55pm: Lotus Lullaby Band from Cork: 10.20pm: Bravest Kid in School Band from Dublin: 10.55pm: Announcement of winning Artist 11.05pm: Turn on stage. List of judges... Actually, I'm not allowed to mention the restof the judges, maybe in case they get stoned on the way home. Not that kind of 'stoned'
