An article called "He who pays the piper calls the tune", written more for our own benefit locally than anything else, has been published in the US in a website/newsletter that goes out by email to thousands of industry and interested observers as well as being read by thousands of fans and indie bands. It is about the situation in Ireland relating to the Charts and the difficulty in having a chart owned by record label, and having no alternative. It also addresses some ideas how things can be made to change. Read the article on the front page here
