We had a bit of a disaster this week when the duplicators told us that the Scene Unheard CD - if we were to make it a dual purpose PC and Audio CD - would over-run and that we could not fit all the material on it. Nightmare.... So, rather than dropping the videos, biographies and contact details we have made for the artists on the CD, we decided to go to the opposite extreme. The Scene Unheard release is now to be a double-CD for the same price (€10). The bonus 2nd CD will feature all the biographical and contact details as well as the videos. However, since we had an extra few hundred megabytes to play with, we built a custom 'radio' streamfor the CD artists. Now, instead of a CD with one song from the artists, there is the 2nd CD which includes more than FOUR HOURS of music on the disk (no internet connection needed!). Moreover, every time it is played, the order of the tracks will be different. In total, over 5.5 hours of music for a tenner. That's cheaper than downloading them for free from the Internet and paying for the phone costs!
