Kevin Hunt was born in Sligo, Ireland. Therefore hailing from the same town as Westlife. He may not have their moves but he does write his own songs and good ones at that. A singer songwriter, influenced by such artists as Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Jack L, Nina Simone, The Frames and Jacque Brel, kevin has crafted songs that comand silence but get you stamping your feet and have you whistling them on your way home. Hi, I'm a singer songwriter and a bit of a trubadour having played in Ireland(obviously) Tazmania, Warsaw, Amsterdam, San Francisco, Adelaide and Edinburgh. I am now living in Cambridge and play a few gigs in the local area including Hitchin and London. I have to give many thanks to Acousticstage in Cambridge for arrange gigs and please check them out if you are interested in listening or playing. My music has been described as Irish singer songwriter which doesn't stretch the imagination but I guess that's what I am. Comparisons have been made with Van Morrison, Tom Waites and even the Doors but I'm not sure what they were thinking. Maybe Leather trousers would enhance that reputation. Music clips are due to follow shortly and perhaps some video but you'll just have to wait and see. The anticipation is enough to make your ears smell like honey.
