-About Downcast- Downcast are a three piece melodic hard rock band based in Drogheda/Dublin area. They formed in August 2004 when Dave Black (Drums) rang Martin Lambert (Guitars/Vocals) to start a band. The two had played together before but needed a bassist to complete the line up. Aidan Byrne (bass), a long time friend of Lambert had just returned from a round world trip and stepped into the role, the sound of Downcast was born. Since August 2004 the band has been constantly writing, recording and gigging and have just released their debut E.P “Finding Reason???.
