Sean Dempsey is a 16 year old Pop/R&B Singer and Producer from Ireland. He began music at an early age with friends as fun but soon it turned into something he really enjoyed doing. After starting a Myspace Page, he uploaded his first song "(Feeling The) Spark" where he also sold this on iTunes Stores worldwide. Although the single failed to do anything huge, Sean continued with music. After a break from the 2006 release, Sean focused and became more serious about music. In late 2007/early 2008 he began his first album. "Breakin' Up" was the first single to be released since "Spark" and it changed Sean's perspective on music incredibly. Sean didn't know that it would get so much success in such a short time. The song charted on www.downloadmusic.ie at a number 5 position on it's first week. It stayed at a Top 10 single for 9 weeks and then fell to a Top 20 single for 4 more weeks. The single can still be seen in the Top 100 songs. To this success, Sean has to thank the "Evening Herald" & "Kildare Times" newspaper as both did a story on Sean and the single. The song was also played and talked about on Spin1038. Sean is now set to release his second single "Ain't It Lovely", where it will be released on iTunes and downloadmusic.ieon the 31st August 2008. The song will be available as a CD Single on the 24th. Sean is now putting the finishing touches on his debut album "S M D". The album is set to be released as a late 2008/early 2009 album. It will be sold on iTunes, downloadmusic.ie and hopefully be in Zavvi Stores. The album will have "pop, r&b, electro, everything just to suit every mood..."
