outcold are a rock band based in tampere, finland, made up of 3 Irish and 2 finnish guys. we play guitar-driven rock, drawing inspiration and influences from any alternative band from the 80s and 90s with more passion than musical ability. fast, loud songs that you can sing along to while crowd-surfing on top of a drunken mob in some sweaty little club.
you could use words like power-pop, punk, grunge, pop-rock, or hard rock to describe outcold's music. you could use these, but you'd probably be wrong. if you found some word that combines all of those, then you'd be a bit closer. the band formed in autumn 2002 and have so far played a lot of gigs and recieved some radio airplay. since 2002 we have built up quite an enthusiastic and loyal following.

our first demo EP ( freefall ) was recorded in late 2002 and gained some radio play in finland. the latest offering from the band is the new EP ( ANOXIA ) which was recorded in may of 2004. this EP sees us going back to our roots with a heavier sound.

since we have only recorded 2 EPs, we still have tons of similar original material just waiting to break out, at least a couple of album’s worth.
