Influences range from weezer, the pixies, queen, and the wannadies, to the smashing pumkins and beyond..... marvin* have been played on local radio stations such as phantom fm. they were voted no.7 in the phantom fm listeners poll, and no.1 on the irish songwriters website. they have also been featured in dublin music magazine Hotpress. marvin* have been together since 1999, gigging as much as possible in venues such as eamonn doran's and whelans of wexford street. they have headlined gigs with good response, and supported popular dublin bands such as the thrills, blink, and turn. |
