'THIS WAY DOWN' are a relatively new group on the music scene currently making waves across their hometown, Dundalk, Co Louth, Ireland. The band formed in 1999 and have been writing their own material and performing live ever since. The lads who are all experienced musicians have played with many acts in Dundalk since 1994. Finally by common interest and musical taste they came together to form 'This Way Down'.

Their love for hard driven melodic American rock can clearly be heard in their music. The bands influences come from groups such as the ?Goo Goo Dolls? to ?Thin Lizzy? to ?Staind?. The band also take a lot of influence from the new trend of American heavy rock groups currently dominating the charts in Europe.

The lads who are all in their early twenties have a huge following in Dundalk and have impressed all with their powerful and energetic live performances. They have played in venues such as the S.F.X Dublin, Spirit store Dundalk, Rock the planet Dundalk and numerous small venues all over Ireland and the UK.

'This Way Down' have one EP ( recorded 2001) available at present, and another (recorded 2003)just recently finished (which will be available to download soon). Both of their EP's were recorded at Tumbleweed Studios.

This Way Down are currently seeking management or a record deal, and are ready to take on the world.
