Swimmer are Rock group based in Cork Ireland. The band has been together since 1994 under several different guises, the most noteable being Pluter, when they won the Munster Bands Competition. From this they won recording time in Fiona Studios in Fermoy Co.Cork Things have been quiet for the band since then, due to college and work committments, but recently they have begun jamming together again, and with the addition of a second guitar (Paul Doolan) the sound has become more diverse. In March of 2003 the band were back in the studio to record some new material, this time with Andrew Tuite @ Home Studios in Cork. In 2 days they recorded 5 new songs, the mixing was done late into the night. A FREE COPY of the Demo is available by sending an email to swimmermail@eircom.net. The band are currently writing new material and hope to record an acoustic Ep in the near future, so watch this space!!!! |
