YRYS - easier to remember if you spell it backwards The final line-up was brought together in Dublin, late 2004. The hard-hitting and energetic drums fused with fat bass lines and powerful guitars gel with disarmingly melodic vocals of singer/songwriter Sandra Larkin to create the ear-pounding, feet-stomping rock of creation, which is SYRYS. SYRYS are no strangers to the music scene on a global scale combining the talents of Aaron Stewart (former Mesner axe man, a.k.a Siv) conducting a wall of sound and pure energy generated and exploited by the newly recruited pots and pans session maestro Steve Brown (drums) and bass guitarist Dan " The Man " Donnelly. From the infectious hook of "Here It Is Again" to the pulse quickening stomp of "The Gypsy Song" SYRYS means business (check out the MP3s on this site). This unique quartet has just released their debut album on iTunes - "Shameless Joy".
