Retrophonic Funk 'n Soul Grooves This seven piece instrumental band are at their best live, playing an infectious blend of dirty grinding funk n' soul grooves. Along with original material they take their set from the catalogues of funk masters like Booker T & the M.G's, The Meters and Jamaica 's Jackie Mittoo. The band have played with visiting acts such as L.A's soul/funk outfit The Rebirth and England 's number one funksters The New Mastersounds. They have appeared at numerous venues across Dublin including The Village, The Gaiety, The Sugar Club, The Venue, The Bleu Note and are regular faces at temple bar's Mezz. |
