Meeting Jackie Hayden and getting some straight-talking feedback on how music should not sound. First 'speed wobble' but the advice was good - all songs revised!

RedFM review a demo copy of 'Sleep Safe Tonight' in November 2002). Colm O'Sullivan reviewed a home-recorded copy of PlaytOh's somber but sincere 'hard love' ballad. He loved it.

PlaytOh's first single 'Legend' recorded in December 2002 at the BPM Studios in Cork under the guidance of studio owner 'Finny Corcoran' who was heard to declare the music was 'not half bad' (thanks Finny). He too is a believer and will be working with PlaytOh to complete their first album in 2003.

UCC Campus Radio decides that PlaytOh are their friends. Cormac gets a job presenting his own show. Kieran Hurley (Director of UCC Campus Radio Station) lends a hand preparing the PlaytOh show and sound. Lots of hard work in an empty upstairs bar in Nancy Spains.

'Legend' reviewed in Hot Press by Jackie Hayden March 2003 - Article: Too Sexy For My T-Shirt. Described as 'full of charm and honesty. A funkier Waterboys ... not scared of putting in the hardwork' - ahem. Thank you Mister Hayden.

Asked to submit a track for the compilation album '60 2nd Circus - artistica altogethra'. Topped the bill of the launch night and played to over 300 people in The Lobby - Cork.

Dave McCardle - The Green Room on 96Fm states that 'Brighter Skies' is the most requested song on his show and plays it every week since he first received a copy.
