Onoff are:
Paul- vocals, guitar
Gary- bass
Steve- drums
Justin- guitar OnOff were formed way back in early 1999 from the remains of singer Paul's grunge band (Plug)...At that time the band was called "The Mo-fo's" and set out doing assorted punk covers and a few original songs. The line up at that stage was the same with the exception of the bassist, Phil. Over the course of the next two years the band were to go on to play our capital city in venues such as the Temple Bar Music Centre, Gasworks, Tivoli Theatre and many others.

After recording 8 tracks in RTE in December 2000, it seemed things were really coming together for the band, but Murphy?s Law had its hand and bassist Phil left just before they were due to record their first demo. Undeterred Paul and Steve enlisted current bassist Gary and kept their booking with Trackmix studio, where the 4 tracker ?High Quality Crap? and the name On Off was born. ?High Quality Crap was released as a demo, and over the summer of 2001 it went on to sell over 800 copies at OnOff shows. OnOff gigged intensively from early June right through to late November 2001, building their fanbase through their dynamic live performances and catchy punk tunes.

OnOff began writing and recording their debut album in September 2001, while at the same time they have kept building their fan base through live gigs. The three piece are one of the most popular bands on the all ages scene and have played many of the renowned Blast gigs throughout Ireland including the recent Blast Fest 3 day festival in Tramore, where they shared the bill with The ReVs.

?Hey Jack! You?re Late!? the 16 track debut album is fast and catchy and packed with powerful melodic punk combined with OnOff style humour. It was completed in August 2002 and was released in Ireland on September 13th on Treasure Island Records. "Hey Jack, You're Late" peaked at Number 7 in the Tower Records Album Chart. The album was toured extensivley throughout Ireland.

A year on from the release of "Hey Jack..." and the band well into writing the second album it was decided that in order to progress as a band, both live and on record, a second guitar was required. Ex-Pyros guitarist Justin was to join the Onoff crew in September 2003. Currently Onoff are writing their second (as yet untitled) album which is due for release in March 2004.
