Two struggling cork bands died slow agonizing deaths,some of the wounded survivors from those bands started playing together in January 05.After a non-sexual conception,and a complicated 16 hour labour, Jezery was born,and made its first tentative noises still covered in birth slime in april 05. This four headed newborn has played most venues cork has to offer,and has dipped its toes in the murky gig waters of Tralee,Galway,Killarney,and Limerick,with bands as diverse as 10 past 7,Wallmark,Lerner and Vamos. An 8 track cd was recorded by a man made out of wires in nov 05,and has been receiving good words from people who think cd's understand english.a plan has been hatched to play as many gigs as possible,to set up a website,to keep getting the cd out there,do an irish tour,and keep writing. |
