HOMBRE

The Story So Far

Hombre was formed in September 2004 with Alan Cassidy on guitar, Brother Ian on drums and Alan Kenny on Bass guitar. Their influences include the Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age and Irish rock legends Thin Lizzy which is reflected in Hombre’s music. Hombre’s original music has been described as
“ heavy enough for the men and sweet enough for the ladies”

After playing the local circuit and receiving rave reviews, Hombre went into the studio to record their first self titled E.P “HOMBRE” in ‘Wild Island Studios’ in Galway. The E.P contained the tracks “It’s all good”, “Societies Lies” and “Soul Owner” which are all original compositions. Their track “It’s All Good” appeared on the “Offaly For Asia” benefit compilation alongside acts such as Mundy and Rosey. This track taken from their debut E.P has already received airplay on both 2FM and Today FM. The band took a break from the circuit for a year and with a new E.P. recorded is back with a great collection of material and a rocking live show to boot.
