Claire Odlum formed ODi at the start of 2006, inspired by a childhood surrounded by music she has producded a batch of songs that are beautiful, emotitonal, exciting and well crafted. Combine these songs with her captivating and oustanding voice and you have a very exciting prospect for the very near future and years to come. ODi have hit the live scene all over the UK and Ireland over the past months and have started to make alot of friends on the Live scene where Claire joins up with guitarist Dave Redfearn and Bassist Barnaby Aldrick to put on a great live show. Their first set of gigs in ireland was backed up with sessions on both WLR and South East Radio. ODi will spend the rest of 2006 on the road before entering the studio in Nov/Dec to record their debut EP Out early next year. Limited edition taster "lost Souls" CD is now available. For more details check out www.myspace.com/odimusic Here are what some kind people have said so far! "An Irish singer-songwriter who many believe will be one of the regions favourite performers for years to come" (Leeds Music Promotions). "A young lady with honest lyrics and a soothing tone" (The Underground Sessions @ snug, Nottingham). We also had the spellbinding sound of "ODi", an up and coming three piece. Claire Odlum does the lead vocal, mixing the power of Joan Armatrading with the melodic subtlety of Mary Black. From the opening bars of the plaintive "Crawl", we were in no doubt that we were in for a fine vocal performance. Claire's vocals are masterfully enhanced by the inch perfect harmonies of Dave, who also does a mean lead/rhythm guitar. "Just Another Rebel" was a fine example of Dave's fine chord driven lead breaks. Bass player, Barnaby makes up the trio and his bass gives a wonderful width to the ODi sound.
