Dublin band The Spikes release their long awaited first single 'Monster' from their debut Diesel Disco EP on Friday July 7th. Head down to Crawdaddy to catch the launch gig of Deisel Disco for only €5 and you'll also see support from The Mes, The Isohels, Sarah oGorman and Jasmine. There will be an instore performance in Tower Records at 4pm on Saturday 8th of July to coincide with the single release. You can download five cracking free tunes from The Spikes at www.getagig.ie and they've also confirmed appearances at LeCheile 2006 in OldCastle, Co Meath, supporting Republic of Loose, and at Castlepalooza. www.thespikes.net
