There is a newly set-up organisation in Ireland organising and promoting Wrestling matches a la the WWF etc. Blake Norton, former front-man with "Romance Is Dead" is behind the plans and the first 'bout' is set for September 10th in South Dublin. Admission price is likely to be €10 but, naturally, we're organising a discount to IU readers. More details will follow soon. Blake is also looking for copyright-free music to be used at events as 'fighters' introduction music, background music, between-bouts music, music to be used for DVD's etc. In true IU style, Blake has asked us to ask you lot if you want your music to be added/featured. No fees will be paid but artists will be creditted accordingly. We're looking at other ways of maximising the potential of the project and our collaboration with Blake so any artists involved at the early stages will no doubt reap any benefits to be had later. We'll put up the details and addresses etc as soon as we have more info. In the meantime, if you haven't the patience to wait, post a CD with letter allowing for the use of the music in any and all promotional projects, and we will pass it onto Blake.
