Do you fancy yourself as one of Irelands next music superstars? This could be your chance for fame and fortune, and if not, you'll have a great time having a go! The 2005 'You're a Superstar' song contest is being held this January and February in Ffrenchs Night Club, Monivea, Co. Galway with a STAGGERING TOP PRIZE OF €3,000!!!!!. The competition will be held over three heats, (All Saturday Nights) Jan 22nd, Jan 29th and Feb 5th. Limited to 18 contestants, two will be eliminated each night leaving twelve in the grand final (Sat Feb 19th). Each contestant will sing once a night and twice in the final (if they progress that far). The audience/crowd will vote people to stay in/ be eliminated each night up to the final. On the final night a top judging panel selected specifically from the entertainment & media industry will select the overall winner. This includes Chris Doran (You're A Star Winner '04) and Siobhan Hollliman (Entertainments Correspondent Of The Tuam Herald) along Mike Rabbitte (Ffrenchs, The Source) The heats will be hosted / presented by Bryan Gill (DJ Bryan G, Ffrenchs, The Source), The Final will be hosted Rick O' Shea of 2Fm. He is on the radio Mon-Thurs 8pm-10pm. Formely Of Longwave radio atlantic 252. Doors are open throughout the heats @ 9.15pm, and show commences 10pm. Doors for final open @9pm and show commences @ 9.45pm. Nightclub follows all nights.
