more news... back to home page...

Hi all

Be warned about any organisation that claims to have our support. If it is an endeavour that is trying to charge you money for providing a service or something (this is in light of a recent email from a band who are being pressurised to get involved with something) then *Do Not* take anyone's word that we have given it the go-ahead.

Two things to note: First, if we *have* given something the proverbial "thumbs up", it only means we can;t find any reason to doubt the organisers (and there are planty of guys and girls out there doing very good work at this level). You still have the responsibility to check the small print out yourselves. After all, how do you know they tell us the same as they tell you?

Second, if we have given somethign the "thunmbs up" then it will most likely appear on the News section of the IU site, and probably in the "Opportunities" section as well.

I realise there are a lot of thing son the sections but that's life. If you can't be assed to flick through them, that's not oour lookout :-)
