Free DVD rental for two weeks. No commitment
Screenclick does DVD rental to your door. If you sign up to it (free), they will pay IrishUnsigned a referrers fee (quite a nice one, too, as it happens). In return, you get two weeks DVD rentals sent to you, and it’ll cost you zero cent.

New signups will need to supply credit card details but *will not* be billed so long as they cancel their membership before two weeks is up. I've tested this. In the meantime, users will be able to get free DVD rentals delivered to their door. Once received, DVDs can be watched/copied and immediately returned, in an enclosed freepost envelope. Another one will then be sent from your prearranged ‘rental queue’ of your preferred movies, that you set up once you are a member. People can cancel membership at any time.

The banner to signup is on the main page at http://www.irishunsigned.com

You can forward this info to your own friends/family. It’s one of those things that don’t come around very often: a money for nothing program. Everyone who signs up to it will benefit, by getting a DVD or three to view/copy. I just got mine - Fahrenheit 911, sending it back now, The Green Mile is next on the list.

If you want to keep an eye on other programs like this, as I discover them, where you can get free stuff, keep an eye on http://www.irishunsigned.com/affiliates.php. There are a few other freebies on there at the moment

Free album from Chris Singleton
I notice that Chris Singleton is following Radiohead's lead, and going one better. rather than selling that album for a price of "whatever you want", Chris is giving the thing away free, for a short time at least.

OK, technically, 'free' might not be entirely correct, since you have to send an email to three friends from his site, so that they might get it also. That's not really a big deal, though since no-one minds getting the odd free album in the (e)mail..

Free printer ink or photo paper
Here's a deal you might be interested in. When printing stuff off a computer, the ink and paper (especially good quality paper) are very expensive. So, if you want, you can get in on a deal I set up for the IrishUnsigned visitors. You can get an ink cartridge for free, or 20 sheets of quality photo paper for free. You'll have to pay a fiver for shipping, but that's not much when you consider some ink cartridges are over €40. If you have a printer, or anyone you know has a printer, they can get in on the act. It won’t last long. I expect the deal to end by Jan.31st, so even if the ink is not running out, jump on it. Oh, you'll need use of a credit card to pay the €5 shipping charge.

Incidentally, it is a one-offer-per-new-customer deal, so for each cartridge or paper you want to get, it has to be a new postal address. Finally, only *some* printer cartridges are free, so if the one you need is not, then get the free photo paper instead. To do this, click through to the ink for *any* printer type and you will see the free paper

This deal (and occasionally other deals) can be found on http://www.irishunsigned.com/affiliates.php

Free trial of 'GoToMyPC'. Access your own PC from anywhere
If you're the type that occasionally has to access files that you acidentally left behind on your home PC, or occasionally have to run routines that use resources on your PC at home, this is a handy bit of software. essentially, when you use it, it presents you with a sort of video-screen of your home PC desktop, allowing you to access files, open folders, use software, much as if you were on the home PC.

It might be of absolutely no use to you whatsoever, but then again, it just might. If you don't mind, sign up for the free trial anyway, as GoToMyPC will credit IU with a small referral comission if you do :-)
