For Me And You was formed in the summer of 2006. Long time friends James Bergin & Robert Flynn wanted to piece a band together to play punk covers. Soon after, they recruited Neil Kirwan to play rhythm guitar. The band was minus a lead singer but not for long. On overhearing Roberts younger sister Kate singing "cute without the E" in her room, the band decided to recruit Kate as their lead vocalist. "cute without the E" would become the bands first cover. The band landed their first show on the 28th of october 2006 supporting close friends 'Random Band' The show proved to be a huge success with For Me And You making a good impression on the Roscrea music scene. However...the band knew they were missing something and after weeks of searching the band announced Dylan "walking bonar" Parsons as their bassist.
