Platteau formed in September of 2002.Steve and John(ex members of Rotovibe) decided to start a side project band with Graham (ex member of Annex), but decided that the new band lineup worked better and so they looked for a drummer.Thomas Parkes (ex member of twoCubed,and currently part of \"Junkhausen\") was added to the lineup. The band began gigging in December 02\',and have been gigging pretty regulary since. In Febuary 03\', the band completed and released their first album (which was in production before Thom joined).
