Mute are a four piece punk - rock act from Blanchardstown in Dublin. They were formed almost two years ago. Their line up includes - Ger Smith ( Lead Vocals, Lead guitar ) Sean Lancaster ( Vocals, Guitar ) Alan Elliot ( Bass ) and Aidan Macnamara ( Drums ). Mute Gigged Heavily in 2003 - Headlining at Dublin Venues such as - The Village, Whelans, Eamonn Dorans, Temple Bar Music Centre and The Hub. Winning over crowds with their high energy and explosive performances. These talented teenagers, found the time to record at the end of October, and at the end of December, they released their debut single -Troubles.
