CKC is a musical adventure conceived and executed by 2 guys - Chris Ward and Kev Bates. Chris is based in Donegal, Ireland - Kev is near Manchester, England. The band is based in County Donegal, Ireland. They grew up listening to pop, rock, soul, folk....when they started making their own music they met and played with musicians from around the globe - Africa, USA, South America, Middle East. They combined it all into their own songs and created their own fusion - 'World Pop'. CKC write all their own material, and between them provide vocals, percussion, guitars, flutes, sax, tin whistle, melodeon, drum and bass. They have shared the stage with the likes of Davy Spillane (Moving Hearts, Riverdance), and provided musical arrangements for dub-poet Lemn Sissay.
