Unpretentious are an alternate rock band based in Belfast. Formed in Portadown, in 2003, the band aim to produce simple, powerful and passionate music based on their physical, spiritual and emotional experiences. Unpretentious have played in a number of venues throughout the provence including Auntie Annies, Front Page and have appeared on local live radio. The name was derived in order to portray the aim to create music, which is for the good of the band, not the individual. It is also reflected in the band's simple but powerful songs and live performance. |
