Splitscreen - N.Ireland Band of the Year 2005 Splitscreen are 4-piece rock band that are enjoying an ever-growing influence and popularity in the Northern Ireland music scene. Band members: Angus Kerr (Vocals), Philip Gallen (Lead Guitar), Peter Toner (Drums), Fergal O’Kane (Bass Guitar) The band have just finished their EP 'Voice in my Head' with Whitenoise studios in Belfast currently working on the graphics design for their new release. Splitscreen will be playing live in Virgin Megastore Belfast at the launch of their EP. EP Track Listings include: 1) Voice In My Head 2) No More 3) Road Ahead With intelligent rock stylings and emotive, high energy live performances the band have a fast growing fan base. Splitscreen efficiently combine excitingly versatile guitar riffs with memorable and catchy hard hitting choruses. The band are currently gigging in venues all across the north coast from Derry to Belfast and are receiving promising reviews along the way. Competing against bands all across the province Splitscreen triumphed as the winners of the N.Ireland 2005 Battle of Bands in association with the Ards International Guitar Festival.
